Trains for system Assembler, Computer Operator and other entry level PC positions. Previous computer or electronic education/experience not necessary. The 270 page Performance-based Instruction Manual contains well-illustrated, step-by-step instructions. Experiments at each assembly stage reinforce what was taught and verify the assembly was performed correctly, guaranteeing student success. Students learn to install and operate Windows XP and application software.

Includes AMD Duron 1.66Ghz CPU, ATX Integrated Motherboard, 128MB RAM (expandable to 2GB), 40 GB Hard Drive, CD-RW Floppy Drive, Assembly Tools and (optional)15" LCD Monitor. Window XP Home and application programs are provided, including MS Works(Word Processor, Spell- and Grammar-Checkers, Thesaurus, Spreadsheet with Graphics, Database with Graphics, and more). A Student Activity Disk augments the Courseware.
